St Martin's School, Smithville, still helping HACS

St Martin's School in Smithville, have been raising funds, year over year, in memory of Austin Davis, who lost his battle with cancer in November 2003.
At this years fifth annual fundraiser a total of 119 items were donated from the community to be raffled off in support of the cause. Each class in the school designed its own gift basket, featuring a different theme. The entire school community, along with members of the public played a big role in helping raise $3,100.00 this year for HACS.
An honourable mention goes to Katelyn Shaw a grade 5 student who donated $100.00 of her own savings, along with the Kristo family who donated $108.93, and St. Joseph's Church Choir which donated $29.00.
